ABOUT The Artist
My stained glass journey started at age 15.
My mom signed me up for an after-school art program — neither of us really knew what we were getting into until it turned out to be stained glass.
It didn't stick right away. But, after picking it back up during COVID, it became the activity I'd always bring to family gatherings and holidays — supplies tucked in a bag, often more excited to show a cousin or an aunt how the glass comes together than to finish a piece of my own. Watching someone hold up their first work of glass art, still not quite believing they made it, is something I never got tired of.
That love of sharing the process eventually turned into pieces of my own — sun catchers made as gifts for friends and family. One year, a Secret Santa gift for a coworker led to a few people asking if they could buy their own, and that was the nudge that got me selling at local art markets. I haven't looked back since.
These days, teaching is just as much a part of what I do as making. If you've ever wanted to try your hand at stained glass, a class here is the place to start.
ABOUT The Studio
A space to share my passion for art was a dream from the beginning
I have talked for years about having a space where I, and others, can share the passion for art of all forms..
I've talked for years about having a space where I — and others — could share a passion for art in all its forms. In 2026, I found that space at EndCap. I took a tour of the newly opening studio, built for artists to create, share, and collaborate across a diverse group of fellow creatives and mediums. I thought it over at a coffee shop right after, and signed up for one of the spaces that same afternoon.
Sassy Glass Studio at EndCap is designed with a focus on sharing the process — hosting classes and teaching others the fascinating, beautiful art of stained glass.
I'm excited to invite you to our studio. Come learn something, and get a little more Sassy Glass in your life.
